Statement of Faith

Amazing Grace Academy proclaims the Nicene Creed as our statement of faith.
. This 4th Century creed has been able to not only stand the test of time but has also served as a standard which Christians from virtually every tradition have believed and proclaimed. It is more than an intellectual checklist of doctrine; it is a confession of worship that forms us as the people of God and draws us together into the life of the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Nicene Creed

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the son of God the only begotten,
begotten of the Father before all ages.
Light of Light; true God of true God;
begotten not made; of one essence with the Father,
by whom all things were made;
who for us men and for our salvation
came down from Heaven
and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit
and the virgin Mary, and became man.
And He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate
and suffered and was buried.
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;
and ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of the father
and He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead;
whose Kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the Giver of Life,
who proceeds from the Father,
who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped
and glorified, who spoke by the prophets.
In one Holy, Catholic (universal), and Apostolic church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

Our Expression of Worship

Worship

The Holy Spirit makes His presence known in the midst of our corporate worship. We believe that one of the ways the Holy Spirit expresses His sovereignty is through the orderly expression of spiritual gifts. We will have regular chapel and bible study.

Prayer

Prayer is the way in which we communicate with God. It is our lifeline. Prayer is how we cultivate our relationship with God. It is how we get to know God personally. Prayer will occur regularly in the classroom.
Image
Family

We believe in supporting families by teachers communicating with the parents and parents communicating with the teachers. We want parents, teachers, and staff members to convey concerns in loving ways and problem solve together. We want families to feel that they can trust their child is receiving an excellent education and he/she is loved and respected.

Service

We believe that every believer is to take responsibility and participate in God’s service of redeeming and restoring His world. By cultivating a heart to serve people and learning effective communication skills, students can be prepared to share the gospel through local outreach and global missions.
